KAP 2008-34: Victoria Island, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. June 14, 2008
I returned to the Victoria Island area after 1 week as I was asked to try to get some pictures of a wedding taking place on the small island between Victoria Island and the Ontario shoreline. I have not included any of the wedding photos as they are private but I have included here some of the general area shots that I took that day. The Canada Post headquarters building at the corner of Heron Road and Riverside drive in Ottawa catches some amazing sunset reflections. The objective of this KAP session was to try to capture this from the air. Unfortunately a large cloud obliterated the sun in a relatively clear sky and forced a premature dusk. Lighting was poor and the camera settings forced a low shutterspeed. Many shots were garbage. I’ve tweaked a few of the underexposed images which were still fairly sharp to give an idea
