E18 Error Fixed! (Canon PowerShot SD450)
Huzzah! Quick Review: Rangefinder October 2008 Issue
I just received the Rangefinder October 2008 issue, which is published by Rangefinder Publishing. It is the Fine Art Issue, and weighs in at 250 pages. As a former Editorial Director of a photo-related magazine (Digital Imaging, and later renamed Digital Imaging Techniques), I know how much work goes into to putting together a magazine (and Rangefinder is much bigger than the one that I worked on). Here are a few reasons wh

Introducing the Art of Layers
Here’s a great tutorial for those of you who are new to using Photoshop layers. If you’re going to be working in Photoshop, the first thing you need to do is get to know your layers palette. It doesn’t matter if you’re doing heavy photo manipulation or just a quick touch-up on a couple shots. Using layers will give you more control over your adjustments, allowing you to make precision adjustments. Not to mention they lower the chance of messing up an image, requiring you to start all over from
