Falling
Finally - a good shot of Ithaca Falls! It’s a magnificent sight - and right at the end of my street - but never seems to capture well on film for me. Seems cheesy and obvious or something. Thanks to a little morning mist and shoddy home development, I managed to get it to look moody and atmospheric. Woo! The curse that flew right by you… 195/365
OK, so maybe I should not listen to The Mars Volta when I am thinking of a title for my images if I am looking for happy, but that line from the song seemed to fit this one nicely…this is also pretty much untouched aside from some contrast adjustments, a little Orton Effect and conversion to grayscale… The sky this morning was incredible…multi layered, dramatic mid Fall sky the just begged for HDR work…so I did some…but this is not one of them…This was actually almost completely processed
