In Fashion Photo features an exclusive collection of more than 250 contemporary works of photographic art by more than 35 of the worlds leading icons in fashion photography on sale to collectors and art enthusiasts throughout the six-day exhibition. Representing more than 15 countries in five continents, some of the most globally esteemed names from the fashion photo world exhibited their work, including Slim Aarons, Miles Aldridge, Terry Richardson, Olivia Beasley, Michael Dweck, Arthur Elgort, Charles Frèger, Erwan Frotin, Alice Hawkins, Steve Hiett, Greg Kadel, Markus Klinko & Indrani, Alix Malka, Simon Procter, Bettina Rheims, Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello, Lawrence Schiller, Jeanloup Sieff, Bharat Sikka, Solve Sundsbo, Michael Thompson and Albert Watson, Walter Chin, Greg Lotus, Ron Kedmi, Willy Rizzo, and Chen Man among others. This prestigious group of internationally acclaimed photographers is collectively exhibiting the most celebrated work under one roof, establishing In Fashion Photo as one of the most progressive photo expositions in the world today. Patrick Remy, acclaimed art critic and European fashion authority, serves as the exhibits curator. The exhibition also features an unprecedented Naomi Campbell Retrospective collection of photography by many of todays most respected fashion photographers who have captured the supermodels elegance and cutting-edge glamour over the years, including Gilles Bensimon, Walter Chin, Sante DOrazio, Bruce Weber, Patrick Demarchelier, Arthur Elgort, Simon Harris, Seb Janiak, David LaChapelle, Steven Meisel, André Rau, Miguel Reveriego, Jean Paul Goude, Bettina Rheims, Paul Rowland, Mario Sorrenti, Giampaolo Sgura, Rene Habermacher, Jannis Tsipoulanis, Mario Testino, Michael Thompson, Ellen Von Unwerth, Terry Richardson, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Peter Lindbergh, Albert Watson, Gui Paganini and Nick Knight. The Naomi Campbell Retrospectives creator and Art Director is Jean Luc Brunel. The time of art speaking through only paintings and sculptures is over. Today, photography is one of the most artistic representations of both society and contemporary art as it captures raw emotion and immortalizes a moment in time, says Francois Trabelsi, founder of Art Photo Expo and In Fashion Photo. Our inaugural exhibition during Art Basel Miami Beach last year was an unprecedented success. In addition to being the largest gallery of fashion photography in the world, In Fashion Photo provides the key to cities worldwide to serve as a stage for established and emerging photo galleries that wish to exhibit their work and represent the industry in its best form. Photography is an art form understandable and accessible by all. For its opening night, In Fashion Photo hosted host an exclusive invitation-only Vernissage preview evening for 1,000 of todays top art collectors and VIPs, during which Kym Mazelle, sensational songstress from 1996s Romeo and Juliets cover song, provided the live entertainment. The Vernissage preview evening enabled todays most discerning art collectors to have a first glance and reserve select works of art being exhibited by todays most celebrated fashion photographers. Designed by renowned Stephane Dupoux of Dupoux Design, whose notable projects include Buddha Bar in New York City, Buddah Resorts in the Dominican Republic and Egypt, Nikki Beach and Gansevoort Beach Club Miami Beach, the unique 30,000-square-foot open-air location for In Fashion Photo in Miamis Design District was beautifully transformed with natural grass, various walkways and galleries on both the east and west sides leading to a central location reserved for Naomi Campbells retrospective exhibit. Art was displayed throughout the space on custom bus-stop inspired structures and accented by abundant tropical plants and water elements reflecting Dupouxs nature-inspired design philosophy. The aim of In Fashion Photo by Art Photo Expo is to project a new look at fashion photography, through the presentation of strong and original images from upcoming talent, along with images from the pioneers of fashion photography who are still considered todays undisputed leaders.
