STORY SUMMARY: (NORTH LAKE TAHOE, California/Nevada) Mother Nature may be arriving fashionably late this winter, but with temperatures dipping into the teens North Lake Tahoe ski resorts have ramped up snowmaking efforts with three resorts now open and two more, Alpine Meadows and Sugar Bowl, opening this Friday.
