Bad Test Footage
New to the world of HD filming. Just whipped out the new A1. Wanted to see how color presets looked, how some of the auto settings worked (aperture and focus), and also how working in and exporting from Adobe Premiere would work with this. The results so far are meh. I'm sure it's operator error. Some settings need to be tweaked. Working with Adobe in HD is something quite different than I'm used to. I need a better, more powerful computer. I'm thinking a pimped out XPS 620 with 1 TB dual HDD with RAID 0 config, 320 GB seperate system drive, 1TB external IEEE scratch/finished media drive, Blu-Ray burner, quad-core processor, and dual monitors. Be back soon with some better camera work, my new RedRock M2 35mm adapter (with Nikon lenses), tripod and indieslider to smooth operation out.

Sorry no lotion anywhere in the clip. Only the original title of the track is. You'll have to ask SK about that. :) The video you see here was a test export. Its not the final version until I resolve some tech problems with Final Cut Studio. FCP's failing to Export the Quicktime Version of the most recent edit I've made. Been repeatedly getting OUT OF MEMORY error which is most unlikely since I'm running it on a 4GB Ram MacBook Pro. (Not to say annoying!) Once resolved, I will update this. Meanwhile any tech help and advise is appreciated. Tech Specs: Final Cut Studio 5.1.4 Macbook Pro 2.33GHz Leopard 10.5.3 Clips in use are QT AICs Music is original composition by Russian synth doctor Space Kundun & myself. T'was done over a weekend of lamb and stolichnaya. Is it not obvious? :) * Scratched 35mm focussing lens which is waiting replacement * Space Kundun tracks are available for purchase separately on iTunes
