Shadow Valley Moon Rise
170 photographs shot December 12, 2008. Moonrise over Shadow Valley, Utah. The clouds broke away just long enough to witness the Moon visible for view as it rose over Weber Canyon. I wouldn't consider myself a photographer, but I love to shoot. I have photographed many Full Moonrises over the years. IBefore the digital SLR revolution, I shot using an Olympus OM2 Film SLR camera, but I had to retire it, and now I use an Olympus E-300 digital SLR, with adapter rings so I can still Shoot using my favorite old lenses. I use a vintage 50mm Zuiko f1-1.4 and a 600mm Sigma mirrored telephoto that I purchased at a pawn shop for $25, several years ago. I like my old lenses and I like to shoot manually, but I cannot afford to pay for film processing. So I purchased the digital E-300 and married it to my old lenses. I can shoot several hundred photos at a time, and it doesn't cost a dime to view my experiments.
