I adore it. I built a camera out of sheet metal and a coffee can. Has anyone else built one out of anything else interesting? It's such an awesome artform and i'm always looking forward to building a better camera so suggestions for alternative materials would be great!

I tried using a pinhole photography kit but an image never showed up on the paper when I tried to develop it. The kit is at least twenty years old. Did the paper go bad or was I doing something else wrong??

Anyone know where any good sites are on developing pinhole photos? I had them on RC paper. Then, I had four baths (with two different chemicals). I still have the chemicals: I think one is an acid. But, I've forgotten the dilution amounts, and there are no instructions on the bag. Does anyone have a list of dilutions and times for each chemical? Thanks.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY DEVICES CONTAIN A PINHOLE AT THE POINT LIGHT IS FOCUSES, RIGHT?
In order for the CCD to capture light from a single direction, there has to be a small hole at the focal point or the image will be flew. But all the diagrams I looked at didn't show it ok I think I didn't explain myself quite right. In, say, a refraction telescope the light is focused at a single point, then inverted, then captured by a CCD. The purpose of this is that each cell of the CCD receives light from a single precise direction by blocking the light coming from all other directions with a opaque object with a hole in it. If there wasn't such a hole, the whole lens would have no purpose at all and the whole telescope would be the same as a single CCD exposed directly to light. PINHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY HEP...?
Our project for pinhole photography is to take pictures of a person moving. How do I achieve this? My person walked slowly for 20 seconds and there is still no on in the picture....
A COUPLE QUESTIONS ABOUT FILM PHOTOGRAPHY/PINHOLE CAMERAS?
Can you tell if there's a picture on a piece of undeveloped film? I know looking at it in the light will kill the pic, but I just want to see if my camera's working without having to get the film developed. Also, for a bright outdoors pic being taken wit a pinhole camera, how long of an exposure would you give it? Will it hurt it if the exposure is too long? Yeah, it's film, not paper.
