Phoenix 0.45x Lens Test
Just received the Phoenix 0.45x magnetic add-on lens to replace the 0.5x I broke. I went out to test it and this is a sampling of the results. Can't believe how small it is compared to the other one I rigged up. Image quality looks better, too. Full range zoom with the lens on as well as close focusing. Nice. Video'd a friend talking to me about an idea for a mount for a wide angle lens adapter for my Sanyo Xacti HD700. While shooting (hand held) I slipped the 0.5x lens in front by hand to see how it would look. Note: The Phoenix 0.45x magnetic mount lens works very well with this camera. Get the large one (still tiny) as the small one vignettes on stills. Look for my samples with and without the Phoenix lens.
