Staircase test with/without the Manfrotto 585 Modosteady and Xacti HD1000

This is the first time I tested the Modosteady in our staircase. The first part of the clip is without the Modosteady. Just me, holding the camera in my hand. The second part is with the Modosteady. Eventhough I have very few experience and practise yet with the Modosteady, you can see a pretty clear difference. I wish I could make these two clips right side by side in one screen, but I don'T know how to do that. I had the .45x no name wide angle lens on the cam, but this time I zoomed a little bit, so that there are hopefully no dark corners. Sorry, that the video is a little dark, but I guess it is because of the weird leight conditions during the day in our staircase. Recorded in 640x480 60fps auto Edited in the camera

Sanyo Xacti HD1000 Testing with Raynox QC 505 wide-angle lens

Location: Bremen-Vegesack, Weser, Germany Camera: Sanyo Xacti HD1000, 40,5mm UV-Filter, 40,5->37mm step-down-ring, Raynox QC 505 0.5X Insta-Wide-Angle Lens (50mmx13mm), which is designed to snap quickly onto camcorder`s lens (all sizes from 27-37mm). Mode: HD720/60fps,other settings auto Editing: With the cam`s built-in editor. Conclusion/ Plus: I like this quickly snap on and off thing; it´s great for indoor shooting when more wide-angle is needed. /Minus: you can not much zoom in with it (about 2,3x max./then it goes completely out of focus); ok, there`s a lot of distortion at the corners of the frame, but indoors it does not annoy that much. I`ll keep it.
