Soviet Spy III

Qplaze® presents Soviet Spy III -- Operation «Umputation» When James Bond was a little English boy, and Mata Hari withdrawn from business log tome ago... When superpowers ruled the world, balancing between cold and nuclear war, and one insane dictator could destroy all our planet... And he would, if only one man... Modest, soviet super spy. Stirlitz. When the ground quivered, and huge crater appeared after the explosion of dictator's African den, Stirlitz didn't even look around. Of course, he studied in spy school that evil likes to pretend dead and arise again, that even when you throw it to the caldron with molten metal it can jump out of there, and then you'll have to kill it with gunstock. Blowing up African bunker of Umput, Stirlitz made sure that his enemy is dead -- as dead as dictator can be dead after the three check shots from bazooka. He didn't see how the huge shadow of flying object covered the place of explosion, a few hours later; and hundreds of flying creatures flew down from their hatches. He didn't see how the strange machines with many legs and creatures operating them, dug into the ground of crater left after the explosion, scattering sand mixed with pieces of concrete. Stirlitz was going to his hydroplane at the seaside. He dreamt of far beaches, of beautiful women and of martini in wept glasses. In a few days, in the secret underwater base in the Barents Sea, he was told everything. He got to know that unknown creatures, after the long search, extracted Umput's remains and delivered it to their flying base, and that this object named «Flying City» for it's size, flew to a Southern pole, where radars have lost it. There at the pole, according to the reconnaissance, were was the most modern and secret laboratory of died dictator. Or, may be, alive one? This question harassed Stirlitz while he tried his new battle space-suit and adjusted top secret model of spy gun in the strategic bomber flying to the pole. Space-suit was equipped not only by armor and life support system, but jet engine, as now Stirlitz had to land to eternal ice zone from stratosphere. His gun had built-in watch, lighter, compass, gyroscope and other stuff he wasn't even going to use. There were thousands of kilometers of ice desert with rare penguins under the plane. According to the aerial photography, Sky City soared above the ice mountains at the height of one kilometer. Setting down to it from the air was too dangerous, so Stirlitz decided to approach it from the land. Mountains were full of strange creatures busy with their strange activity, but it was his usual job to deal with such enemies. Well, may be the job was a little bit unusual, this time... Many hours later, standing in fritted, gnawed and acid stained space-suit on the top of ice mountain, and admiring the view of colossal crater with fragments of Sky City, Stirlitz remembered how naive he was... So, to accomplish the operation «Umputation» Stirlitz will have to: • Use new top secret, battle space-suit with jet engine; • Fight with unknown and dangerous enemies -- zombie-mutants, military robots and secret Umput's woman ally; • Cope with new ultra modern weaponry -- shotgun, hand laser and energy gun -- each of them has two modes of firing; • Improve his weapon and armor in special store between levels; • Chase his opponent during 15 levels, in the Arctic, air laboratories and mysterious Sky City. Participating in adventures of famous super agent you'll be able to: • Enjoy excellent graphics and special effects -- grenade explosions and shots from energy weapon, flashes of lasers, artificial lightnings and even aurora; • Feel yourself as a part of interactive environment -- the Arctic with constantly falling snow, Umput's laboratories full of victims of his experiments, and dismal robotic factories of Sky City; • Enjoy dynamic and captivating gameplay -- fighting with numerous and well armed enemies during lots of levels using new super agent's abilities -- three types of weapon with alternative modes of firing and ability to improve it in pauses between missions.

Peggy Dyer Photography presents "Underwater Belly Photos"

Michelle's Belly Session.. she was nervous, her third little boy, Orion, was scheduled to be born like his brothers by C-section. She saw my photo hanging at Becoming Mothers, and she wanted this photo to hang on a wall in her home. A symbol and reminder of the joys from each of her pregnancies. She was 9 months pregnant in these photos. I love to photograph pregnant women in water. It is such a natural place for them to feel connected to their bodies. As the fabric wraps around their beautiful curves, I let my camera dance in my hands. "Oh My God! I just looked at my belly photos and they are so incredible! The amazing thing is that I went through them and thought, that's my favorite. Then I keep seeing different things that stand out in each one. They are all my favorites! You are amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you."

Seasnake photography in Palau

Location and Geographic Description 7° 30' North Latitude, 133° 30' East Longitude Offical Languages more info English and Palauan Time Zone When it's Noon Monday in Palau, it is: Manila 11:00 A.M. Monday Tokyo 12:00 P.M. Monday Sydney 1:00 P.M. Monday Honolulu 5:00 P.M. Sunday Los Angeles 7:00 P.M. Sunday Climate Palau enjoys a pleasantly warm climate all year round with an annual mean temperature of 82° degrees F. (27° C.). Rainfall can occur throughout the year, and the annual average is 150 inches. The average relative humidity is 82%, and although rain falls more frequently between July and October, there is still much sunshine. Typhoons are rare as Palau is located outside the typhoon zone. Currency & Credit Cards : The official currency of the Republic is the U.S. Dollar. Visa, JCB, Master Card, and American Express cards are widely accepted at stores and visitor facilities. There are FDIC insured banks and major hotels with limited foreign currency exchange. In addition, Palau has money transfers such as Western Union or through Bank Institution. Customs, Immigration & Health Requirements One (1) bottle of liquor and one (1) carton of cigarettes can be brought into Palau duty-free. All visitors must have return travel arrangements or approval by the Chief of Immigration for an extended stay. The fee is $100.00 (U.S.). Cholera and Yellow Fever immunizations are required for those arriving from infected areas. Although in the past few decades, Palau has adapted to an international economy, Palauans for the most part strongly identify with their traditional culture. Several of the traditional ceremonies, such as the omersurch birth ceremony, ocheraol first-house ceremony and the kemeldiil funeral services are widely practiced and the codes and beliefs adopted by Palauan forefathers are still revered today. Probably the most noticeable aspect of Palauan culture is the people's connection with the sea. Traditionally, it was the duty of the family to go to sea to harvest fish and battle against enemy villages. As the sea was the source of their livelihood, men developed a close relationship with the waters of Palau, becoming versant in the currents and the phases of the moon and the behavior of the fish they sought to put on the table. Women generally stayed on land or along the shallow reefs surrounding the islands, rather than combat the open ocean, providing foundation for the family. Their days were largely spent tending to their homes, family and fields where they grew taro. Palauan villages were, and still are, organized around 10 clans reckoned matrilineally. A council of chiefs from the 10 ranking clans governed the village, and a parallel council of their female counterparts held a significant advisory role in the division and control of land and money. Palauans are a highly sociable people. Traditionally, history, lore and knowledge were passed down through the generations orally as there was no written language until the late 1800's. Palauans still practice that traditional method, and at the end of the day, one can often find pockets of Palauans excitingly engaged in the telling of the stories of the more recent past.

16 Chapel Ceilings-my first music video

SIXTEEN CHAPEL CEILINGS is the first music video I've directed. It's a collaboration with the musicians and was my "learning experience" film project. As it turned out was an insane amount of work to make, but on the plus side I learned to use many new techniques and programs like Maya and AfterEffects. A combination of miniature & underwater photography, wire-work and computer animation are incorporated into XVI Chapel Ceilings-all with an absurdly low budget (Robert Rodriguez would be proud) and frankly I would never take on this involved a project again without a real budget. It was hellishly difficult to complete. I'm grateful to the small & talented crew who donated their time on nights and weekends to help make it-thankful and apologetic is more accurate since I tested and exhausted everyone involved so completely. Visit my website DutchAngleFilms.com for a higher res version & any messages to Jesse Blatz, the lead singer of THE FLY SEVILLE can be directed to me at J@DutchAngleFilms.com and will be relayed to him. Enjoy the video! Tell your friends! Force them to watch it...really. More posts soon.

Tabarka-Tunisia/طبرقةـ تونس

Tabarka (Arabic: طبرقة‎ , Phoenician Tabarka ,Carthaginian: Thabarka or Barga by locals) is a coastal town located in north-western Tunisia.. It has been famous for its coral fishing, the Coral Festival of underwater photography and the annual jazz festival. Tabarka's history is a colorful mosaic of Phoenician, Roman, Arabic and Turkish civilizations. The town is dominated by an offshore rock on which is built a Genoese castle. Nationalist leader Habib Bourguiba, later to become president of post-independence Tunisia, was exiled here by the French colonial authorities in 1952.Thabraca was the last Numidian city in the direction of the Zeugitana and was a Roman colony. It was connected by a road with Simitthu, to which it served as a port for the exportation of its famous marbles. At Thabraca Gildo, the brother of Firmus, committed suicide. Under the Vandal king Gaiseric it had a monastery for men and one for women Confronting it, at a distance of about 365 yards, is the small island of Tabarka, where the Genoese Lomellini, who had purchased the grant of the coral fishing from the Ottoman Turks, maintained a garrison from 1540 to 1742. Here may still be seen the ruins of a stronghold, a church and some Genoese buildings. At Tabarka the ruins consist of a pit once used as a church and some fragments of walls which belonged to Christian buildings. There were also two Ottoman Turkish fortresses, one of which has been repaired. In 1741 it was surrendered to the (nominally Ottoman, de facto autonomus) Bey of Tunis. Part of the population was moved to the Sardinian island of San Pietro, whose population still speaks a variant of Genoese dialect originating from Tabarka.
